The required ingredients:
- 1 kg mussels

- 50 ml dry white wine
- 60 ml apple cider
- 1 green apple cubes cut
- 2 SL butter
- 1 stalk of fresh thyme
- 1/4 tsp sea salt
- 1/4 SL ground pepper
Preheat the oven to 200 °. Cut out a square piece of parchment paper (about 30 cm X 30 cm). Fold the sides of a book cover and place the clean mussels in the middle. First of all, leave aside.
Fry the bacon for about 10 minutes until crispy. Add the scallion and fry for a further 4 minutes. The white wine and vinegar are added. The stove top is turned off, add the apple, stir and cover.
Cut small pieces of butter and add them to the mussels. The wine mixture and the thyme stalk are added and the parchment is made. Bake for about 20 minutes and serve warm.
A Salad With Sea Breeze

An aromatic and nutritious recipe that is ready in a few minutes.
- 500 g mussels
- 1 onion
- 6 cloves of garlic
- 1 SL olive oil
- 4 ripe tomatoes
- 1 green peppers
- 1 SL capers
- 1 tsp sliced basil
- 1 tsp Oregano
Cut the onion and the garlic small and fry in pre-heated oil. Stir frequently until golden brown. The tomatoes and the peppers are also cut to size and added to the pan together with the capers. Taste with the spices. Stir until the tomatoes soften – about 7 to 8 minutes. The clean mussels are added and covered. Cook until the mussel shells open (about 6 minutes). The closed mussels are sorted out. Cool and serve in wide serving bowls.
