Prom Night Glam Rock Makeup

For all of you alternative or fans of darker makeup suggest a glamorous rock version of makeup for prom (or any other occasion). After the bronze brown Smokey and simple romantic look I’ll show you another look, this time focusing on the lips and eyes.


On the face of Revlon’s Color say in shades Buff ‘150 ‘. Circles are covered with MAC Pro Long wear concealer ‘NC20’, a highlight on her face made Bourjois HM concealer ’51 Vanilla ‘. Sparkling highlight on the face has been MUG eye shadow ‘Shimma’ and contour NYX ‘Taupe’ blush. Blush is a reddish hue Sleek ‘Chantilly’ from the ‘Lace’. Her face is fixed elf HD Powder and Catrice Skin Finish compact powder.


Makeup on the eyes is very simple and easy to perform. After the base MAC Soft Ochre Paint Pot, over the lid was applied light matte eye shadow color. The area below the eyebrows lightened still lighter beige matte eye shadow and the area under the arch of the eyebrow pointed white gold glittery eye shadow. All the above mentioned shades from the 88 Neutral palette

Along the outer edge of the eyelid I stuck a piece of tape to line the outer corners which was sharper and straighter. Pencil brush great pigmented Sleek black eye shadow and at the same time gently aperture up making sure thickest paint application is at the outer corners of the eye and at the inner corner and at the end of ‘lines’ being thinner. Thereafter edge black shades slightly check myself out light brown shade.

I took off the tape and the edge of the upper eyelid pulled the thin line Catrice gel eyeliner.

The lower lid lightly shaded the rest of the black shading on pencil brush.

On the waterline I inflicted pinkish white pen Catrice Eyebrow Lifter (from a limited collection). The inner corner of the eye gently I pointed white gold glittery eye shadow.

On the lashes I apply mascara, then the outer corners of the eye caused half Red Cherry # 523 lashes.


On the lips I first inflicted NYX Matte Lipstick ‘Alabama’. Black eyeliner I met outside corners of her mouth in order to darken them and get the 3D effect. Then I pass the lips smeared IQ Cosmetics lipstick Matt Berry ’29 ‘which is then brush hide in black pen on the corners of her mouth. Around the edge of the lips slanted brush Caused concealer in order to obtain more precise lines.
