Here’s a trick to make Muffins with chocolate heart cakes for Valentine’s Day 2018
The muffins with chocolate heart cakes for Valentine’s Day are very nice and romantic, perfect to prepare for Valentine’s Day! They are mouth-watering muffins and simple but only in appearance, are out of the common muffin breakfast but that hide inside a heart with chocolate.
The recipe is quite simple but it must be done in two phases: the first is preparing the base to cacao for the hearts and then you make the cakes themselves for decoration you can choose you, maybe a layer of sugar but also of the melted chocolate, the cheese frosting or vanilla buttercream.
- 150 grams of butter
- 2 eggs
- 120 grams of sugar
- 100 ml cream
- 200 grams of flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 15 grams of cocoa
Take a bowl and stir in the melted butter, eggs and cream, then in a bowl mix flour, baking powder, and sugar, then sifted and add them to the liquid ingredients. Take a bit of dough, add the cocoa and mix well, then put the dough on a baking sheet and spread it with a spatula but not too thin. Bake in the oven at 180° C for 10-13 minutes.
Cut out hearts with the special mold, then let cool. Take the muffin molds put a teaspoon of dough and put the little heart in the center standing, add the rest of the dough and then proceed like this until the end of the ingredients.
Bake the muffins in the oven at 180° C for 20-25 minutes, do the toothpick test and then let it cool the cookies on a wire rack. Decorate the cookies as desired but do not overdo it so you give the attention it deserves little heart to cocoa.
