Winners Of The SAG Awards, The Union of American actors reward the best performance since 1995 in the television and film during the SAG Awards ceremony. The 19th edition was held last night at the Shrine Exposition Center in Los Angeles, in the presence, among others, Nicole Kidman, Jessica Chastain, Marion Cotillard and Justin Timberlake. After winning the Golden Globe for Best Film on January 14 (see our article), Ben Affleck took home the SAG Award for Best Film Argo. Daniel Day-Lewis won the Best Actor in a Leading Role for Lincoln (Steven Spielberg), while Jennifer Lawrence was rewarded in the same category for female version Therapy Happiness (David O. Russell). Anne Hathaway and Tommy Lee Jones won respectively the Best Actress prices and Actor in a Supporting Role for Les Misérables in their interpretation (Tom Hooper) and Lincoln. Next series, Modern Family and Downton Abbey were the winners, as well as Claire Danes, Tina Fey, Alec Baldwin and Bryan Cranston, who won statuettes Best Actors (class comic and dramatic). Claire Danes took home the SAG Award for Best Actress in a Drama Series for her performance in Homeland.

The provision of Anne Hathaway in Les Miserables, Tom Hooper, won again. The SAG Awards, she won the statuette for Best Actress in a Supporting Role.

30 Rocks was rewarded twice last night. Actress Tina Fey has reported one of two trophies for Best Actress in a Comedy Series.

Julianne Moore was elected by her peers in the category Best Actress in a TV series for her performance in Game Change.

Nominated for Best Actress in a Leading Role for Zero Dark Thirty, Kathryn Bigelow, Jessica Chastain did not win the statuette, but remains in contention in the same category for the Oscars.

Alec Baldwin here with his wife Hilaria Thomas, reported to the Series 30 Rocks second statuette of the evening for Best Actor in a Comedy Series.
