The British designer brings to the stage dresses with simple lines and clean, who can be refined with a few elements. A collection that relies entirely on the classic pairing of all time: the black and white.
With the most faithful husband in the front row applauding (along with small fashionista Harper) Victoria Beckham presented her autumn- winter 2014-2015 on the catwalks of New York Fashion Week. The British designer relies entirely on the combination of black and white, a classic declined in clean, linear style that characterizes the work of Victoria since its inception. Consistent with the ultimate collection ever brought to the stage in New York, the designer continues to study the volumes and proportions, focusing on the contrasts and exploring for the first time geometric prints and pleated applied – that give a smooth movement to the clothes – skirts and over sized.
The chains back to a gentle grunge, where just a few asymmetry and draping to make a bold and irreverent head. The double alternating with soft trousers which are the real highlight of the whole collection, especially if under the maxi skirts. Peep the red, yellow and blue but they are marginally: black and white is the imperative of the next cold season. No tight clothes, this time: seduction is a game of tulle and crepe de chine, pleated necklines and naughty and discreet.
The woman Victoria Beckham has many faces and is in constant metamorphosis: reserved but determined but practical dreamer, biting and alluring without being vulgar. Collection after collection, the former Spice Girl has managed to create a very personal concept of elegance, being able to emancipate themselves from the role of “wife” and pop star. On the catwalks Victoria Beckham is simply a stylist. Among the best of Britain.
